Do you like to sing? Do you want to learn to play chords on the guitar? If so, try it for five weeks this summer. If you like it, continue your classes in September.
Guitar With Christina is a music program for beginners, starting 2nd – 5th grade, who want to learn to sing and play chords on their guitars. You will get an individualized guitar & song book with well known songs as well as new songs. You will learn the basics for playing, and sing many songs. Returning students will continue to strum, pluck, sing, play “tab” and melody. Groups of two to three students of the same age and level will play together.
Taking Summer Guitar classes is a great way to explore the new instrument and start your music education in a positive and child friendly atmosphere. Parents are welcome to attend the lessons and learn the basics too.
How long are the lessons?
The lesson time is 40 minutes.
When are the lessons?
Sign up for 5 lessons on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 6/24 and 7/23. Makeup classes for missed lessons on Wednesday, 7/29.
What time are the lessons?
Choose a morning or afternoon lesson time. Contact me at cberg@sycamorestringsacademy.com and I will let you know what exact times are available. Enroll early to get your favorite time slot.

Where are the lessons?
At our Music Studio in Livermore. Email for directions, or call our office, 925.606.5818.
What is the tuition?
Tuition for five 40 minute group lessons is $135 (tuition is $125+ $10 registration fee).
How do we enroll?
First, contact me to schedule your lesson before you enroll. Then, download the guitar enrollment form from this website. Send the check and paperwork to Sycamore Strings Academy, PO Box 2106, Livermore CA 94551-2106. I will confirm your registration by email.
When can we enroll?
Enrollment period starts 5/1 and continues until 6/12.
Refunds?
Last day for a refund is 6/12. Registration fee $10.00 is non-refundable.
Do I need to bring my own guitar?
Yes. I only have a few rental guitars. No “toy guitars” can be used, just real instruments.
